This piece features a beautiful piece of mulga which has been oiled and polished on the ends to highlight the character of the wood (the bark has been varnished). The core of the wood has been carved out and houses a large opal specimen piece and opal chips. The large opal specimen piece has absolutely amazing flashes of blue, green and purple.
